ScreenDoor Diaries planned a blissful spring wedding, in North Carolina, at The Lumen House. The bride spent the morning getting ready with her girls as Emma Harrison offered her incredible makeup services. Our bride opted for a high neck silk gown with her hair pulled back into a low bun. Her veil flowed in the wind as Phylicia Willis captured timeless outdoor portraits. She met her groom-to-be inside of the reception area for a first look and wedding portraits before the ceremony.
Their ceremony was held outside under the modern wedding arch. They draped fabric over the arch adding to the beautiful ambiance of the ceremony. They said ‘I do’ surrounded by loved ones on the lawn before heading into the glasshouse for a cocktail hour with bartending from QC Catering. From there guests headed into the reception area for a seated meal. The space was illuminated by the glow of candles as the tables were all lined with votives. Crisp white linens and classic white floral arrangements from Birch n’ Willow sat atop each table creating a chic, timeless look to the space. Guests headed outside for a sweet treat from the Cooling Out Ice Cream Truck, a fun way to end the night! Maye & Sadler’s wedding was the perfect spring celebration here in North Carolina and we loved hosting their big day!
