  • We are nestled on 50 acres of land just outside Mooresville, North Carolina. Our address is 280 Rowan Road, Cleveland, NC 27013, which is 45 minutes from Charlotte and 50 minutes from Winston-Salem.

  • The maximum seated capacity for The Lumen House is 300 people.

  • Of course! We have a beautiful house, The Grove, which is perfect for overnight stays. Just let us know, and we'll help you set this up!

  • Yes, we require a day-of coordinator at a minimum, but you can upgrade to partial or full wedding planning with your vendor if you wish.

  • Our parking area accommodates approximately 50 cars. If additional parking is needed, we require the Client to use group transportation like buses or vans.

  • Yes!

  • All vendors providing any service to our Client must be professional vendors who carry a minimum of Business Liability Insurance. We do allow for exceptions to this rule for things like dessert or for weddings, your officiant. Ask our team for more information if you have a friend or family member who wants to offer a service at your wedding. 

  • You can choose your own caterer as long as they carry liability insurance, professional licensing, and are pre-approved by The Lumen House to ensure the quality.

  • We follow the access times listed above regarding music and noise. The last song is to be played at 11:00 PM, giving vendors one hour for cleanup.

  • While we don't require bulk guest transportation, we highly encourage it. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are not available in our area.

  • Yes! We allow dogs on a leash for the ceremony and photos. All animals must leave the venue before food service begins.

  • Any vendors used must carry liability and other necessary insurance in the amount of no less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) to protect themselves against any claims arising from any officially scheduled activities during the event.

  • In addition to the venue reservation fee, the security/damage/excessive cleanup deposit is required in the amount of $1,000.00 and is due along with final payment.

  • While we encourage creativity, the Lumen House must approve all decorations. Please contact us if you have questions; we’ll be happy to talk through your decor plan and what’s permitted!

  • Your venue rental fee is split up into four equal payments. After you decide on your perfect wedding date, we'll have you sign our venue agreement and pay the first of four payments–now, the date is officially yours!
