Libee & Jonathan | Outdoor Wedding in N.C. 5/11/25

Planned by Overjoyed Wedding and Events, Libee and Jonathan celebrated their wedding day at The Lumen House in North Carolina. The day began with the bridal party getting ready together as The Beauty Consultant perfected a timeless makeup look for the bride. Before the ceremony began, guests arrived to a beautifully designed outdoor ceremony setting. Rather than standing beneath the iconic arch, the couple opted for a stunning setup at the fireplace hearth. Sara Dryer styled the lawn with clusters of lush florals and romantic candles. The couple exchanged vows, seated on a vintage couch in front of the outdoor fireplace, while their officiant led a heartfelt ceremony.

Following the ceremony, guests mingled on the property as Olivia Derocher Photo and Embark Films captured portraits across the grounds. The couple shared quiet moments together while their wedding party celebrated nearby. From there, the couple was introduced as married and celebratory dancing ensued. The first dances took place in front of the fireplace before guests headed indoors. Inside the reception space, tables were covered in rich green and creamy white linens with gold accents. Lake Norman Catering provided bartending, dinner, and the dessert display, creating a seamless dining experience for guests. Shortly after, SICSounds opened the dance floor and set the tone for the rest of the evening. Guests mingled and danced with the couple, celebrating into the evening. It was a joyful and heartfelt day here at The Lumen House, and we loved hosting Libee and Jonathan as they began their life together!
