Kalee and Austin’s spring wedding in North Carolina was filled with bright, romantic moments and pure joy. A May ceremony at The Lumen House was the perfect backdrop for a fresh celebration. Heatherly Event Design curated the day with pastel florals in robin’s egg blue, baby pink, and purple, bringing the season and the couple’s new beginning to life. Alisha Rudd Photography and Firefly Films captured the day beautifully, from sweet moments with the wedding party to elegant table settings with gold trim, glowing candles, and the couple’s first dance after saying ‘I do’.

The outdoor ceremony included tender moments, candid photos of the flower girl and ring bearer, and a few playful scenes with beloved furry guests adorned with blooms. They exchanged vows beneath the modern arch, surrounded by loved ones. Kalee looked stunning with tousled curls, a soft veil, and soft glam makeup created by LookLove. After the ceremony, the couple shared a quiet moment, just the two of them, before heading to the reception.

A light spring rain added the perfect touch of romance to the afternoon before an evening full of festivities. Inside, the reception felt warm and full of fresh spring energy. Guests enjoyed champagne toasts, heartfelt stories, savory dishes, and sweet treats from Lake Norman Catering. A sculptural ice display by Artisan Ice Sculpture, paired with a lively photo booth from Abiding Images, kept the celebration fun and playful. ATG Entertainment brought everyone to the dance floor, and Queen City Beer Burros added fun cocktails to the mix.
