Kailah and Cameron’s summer wedding at The Lumen House in North Carolina was filled with beautiful cream, green and soft pink blooms. Kailah got ready in an ice blue silk gown and a lace robe. The Makeup Team styled her hair with half up and half down tousled waves, and finished the look with glamorous makeup. Meanwhile, Cameron’s groomsmen raised a toast to start the day. There were cheers, big smiles and even a few dance moves. Then Kailah stepped out in a stunning floor-length drop-waist gown.

Just before the ceremony, the couple shared an intimate first look. They read their vows to each other, and a few soft tears followed. Marissa Rice Events planned the day and designed the florals, filling the space with the perfect summer blooms. The ceremony decor was simple yet stylish. A close friend of the couple officiated their ceremony, and the moment was full of joy.

As the reception got closer, guests gathered around a charcuterie spread from Charcuterie Charlotte, framed by bright pink and white blooms and green leaves. A few guests even stopped to pet some of the farm animals. The reception felt like a villa in Italy: candles, pared-back florals, white linens, and wood chairs from NewSouth Event Rentals and Party Reflections set the scene. Natural light poured into the room.

After a romantic first dance, guests enjoyed pizza from King of Fire and cocktails from Black Moth Bars. Dessert came from Louie and Honey’s Kitchen. Then Split Second Sound brought everyone to the dance floor, and CharterUP got guests home safely at the end of the night.
