The wedding of Lucy and Ivan was a grounded color story with striking blue hues woven throughout the day. By Avery Events artfully crafted a each detail, making sure the day paid tribute to Ivan’s military background and service. Standout moments from the ceremony include a picturesque first kiss beneath the modern arch, guests seated in wooden chairs to create the perfect aisle, and blue and white blooms perfectly adorning the ceremony space. Eden Rose Floral Studio brought their blue palette to life with fresh seasonal buds that surrounded the bride, groom, and their guests in soft blues, ivory, and gentle greens.

By Mady Jade captured the best scenes of the day from the groom standing at the end of the aisle waiting stoically for his bride in uniform, to the heartwarming tears, happy guests, and the familiar embraces shared before and after the ceremony. Just before the reception began, Lucy and Ivan slipped away for intimate portraits as the sun began to set. The Lumen House was transformed with thoughtful details consisting of blue florals on the napkins, woven baskets with buds serving as seating charts, earth tone candles, and table settings layered with lace and green moss. As night fell, the mood shifted and excitement entered the air. Guests enjoyed savory dishes by Lake Norman Catering and crafted cocktails. Split Second Sound kept the dance floor full as they played a fun mix of modern hits and oldies. There was laughter, smiles, and even a wardrobe change from Lucy into a fun mini dress to conclude the evening.
