Mckenna and Jake’s wedding was filled with sunshine, good vibes, and a relaxed feel. There were smiles, lace, and even a party bus. Scout + Grace planned each moment thoughtfully, from the intimate nuptials indoors at The Lumen House to a breezy outdoor reception. Flowers hugged the guests and created a classic atmosphere with ivory, cream, and small pops of intense blue, curated by Lovingly Charlotte. Thin Spaces Weddings captured the tender moment at the altar, from quiet vows to the first kiss after they said ‘I do’ with Officiant Lem Leroy.

Just before the reception began, Mckenna and Jake slipped away for intimate portraits while their guests soaked up the summer evening for cocktail hour. Hair by Nataliya created a chic updo that framed Mckenna’s face, paired with glam makeup designed by Makeup by Caitlyn. Guests received matchboxes as stylish keepsakes that featured the couple’s photo. The reception unfolded outdoors under the sunset, with a beige and white checker dance floor and neatly strung lights. Tables were dressed in white linens and framed the scene.

Roots Catering served southern cornbread, roasted carrots, and sweet treats like mini cakes. Cheers the Collective kept guests on the dance floor. Crafted cocktails and mini hotdogs made the rounds and everyone danced under the lights. The celebration began with the wedding party arriving in style courtesy of Sunway Charters, ending in a relaxed wedding reception full of laughter, warm hugs, and dancing. Mckenna and Jake had a perfect summer celebration filled with memories to last a lifetime.
